Piktochart:

My piktochart is titled “important tips of cybersecurity” and what this piktochart depicts is tips to stay safe on the internet and how to try and prevent from having information stolen online. Also, there are statistics regarding teen cyberbullying which relate to Emily’s video where a fellow student stole her identity and made social media account using her pictures posing as Emily. In regards directly to the questions about the video, my reaction to this story about Emily Pickett, who in fact I know of because we are in the same sorority here at USF, is disturbance from the fact that a young girl who was already going through so much with cancer and everything else, then had to deal with someone stealing her information and pretending to be her and all of her friends which is total invasion of privacy. What I learned from this story is to always be aware of what you put out on the internet and to be cautious of those who have access to your information so that you can prevent from scary things like this happening. As well as to make sure to not be naive to those taking advantage of what they are able to gain access to by social media. To inform my life or that of others with this story I would just emphasize that this can happen to anyone and to monitor social media accounts and all things that hackers have availability to so that everyone can ensure that information will not be stolen or identity, as in her case.
